Winter sunset,,

 A beautiful day followed by a gorgeous sunset. Frozen ground, chilly in the air. It was a marvellous and eagerly longed for break from the rainy days this autumn/winter. These pictures are from the sunset on the west coast of Sweden nearby where I live...

Ett litet break från alla gråa dagar denna regniga och höst och vinter. Kameran "dammades" av och vid Norra Grundsund på västkusten blev det en alldeles betagande solnedgång.

A screaming seagull flying by inte the burning, but hastely disappearing, sunlight. Seeking a safe place for the night.

 En skriande mås flyger förbi i den snabbt dalande solens brinnande solnedgång. Flera måsar flög och tycktes få lite "panik" i solnedgången för att hitta sina platser.

Ljuset kom tillbaka,,

För en kort stund kom ljuset tillbaka. Denna höst har vi verkligen inte varit bortskämda med fint ljus. Men denna eftermiddag var ett undantag. Det blev en paus i allt julfirande och en liten promenad i naturen. Kameran åkte såklart med..... och ....Tänk vad lite sol kan göra i ett annars "färglöst" landskap.

Sommarens blomstrande, livfulla gräs står nu som reliker från en svunnen tid. Men.... med lite solljus blir det plötsligt som någon målat med guldfärg i den annars gråa vardagen.....

For a short while we had the light back in nature. This autumn we have not had that so very often. A pause from celebrating christmas and taking care of grandchildren, we went out in the nature...

The sunlight in last summers grass looks as if someone has painted the nature with golden staines....

Free as a bird,,

Not been able to blog so much lately....First we were on vacation, and after that it has been too much work...But on sunday morning the camera came to work ! Here is the result. For once, we saw a beautiful sunrise......! And my smallbirds did some action for me with the low uprising sun in the feathers.....

Night quarters,,

Trying to settle down, for the night...The blackbirds, finding their place for the night. Wonder how they found the right place? Just this branch is for me. And just near you and you and you... Otherwise flying up and screaming...until the right place occure...Amazing to study...

A meeting with the goshawk is for sure something to remember.....The sharp look and powerful claws. Very watchful and alert. Not starting the camera too soon, waiting..... allmost not daring to breath.....

When it starts to eat, you dare to start the camera and take a few photos.......

En grym jägare duvhöken, vaksam och alert....man vågar nästan inte andas i gömslet. När den väl börjar äta vågar man försiktigt ta några bilder.....

Har beundrat mina bloggvänners lek med kameran för att skapa riktiga "konstverk". Långa slutartider och rörelse. Färg o komposition gör såklart sitt till för resultatet. Inspirerad att försöka ........Det var i vart fall kul att försöka !
