One misty early morning in September. Not often you see such a proud and stately elk in my part of the world......and when the sun crawls up over the hills it brings a golden light to the nature and that I do love the most....

SvaraRaderaWat een prachtige platen Lasse. Een eland kunnen fotograferen is toch wel heel bijzonder en hij staat er nog perfect op ook, vooral de eerste foto met ook nog een lichtje in het oog. En dan een eland samen met een ree op de foto, uniek. Een prachtig blog met heel mooi licht.

Hello Lasse, :=) Wonderful series of photos. When I think of your posts, I often think of the golden light that you somehow manage to capture in your beautiful shots. All of the misty nature shots are also beautiful and capturing an Elk must have been a thrill. I enjoyed all of your photos.

SvaraRaderaElks are fascinating animals. Unfortunately it is already many years ago that I have seen them in the wild. Your pictures are simply great. The autumn is the time of the year that brings mist and colours. For photographers a challenging time. Your impression is a good example of this.

Hi Kees, many thanks for a nice comment. Elks in this size you don't see very often here in my part of Sweden. Hope it will survive the hunting which starts in the beginning of October....and the misty mornings are my favorites !

Comments are anonymous. The following works for me.
comment field; it stands; Google profile, anonymous and name/ url
if it says anonymous, open the field and click on google profile and the page will update now you can comment with your name. It works for me with Chrome and Firefox

if the comment field doesn't respond, I go once to another tab maybe reading list and then back, and works perfectly :-))
Hi Frank, Many thanks for comments ! Thanks for the "guideline" you gave me here to be able comment with name. Since I have a Mac computer it is not compatible with google so I have to manage it in a "special" way and I cannot do it or rather I don't dare doing it on my computer. Have to change in settings....
