En av mina favoritfåglar är sidensvansarna. På hösten samlas de i stora flockar för att äta av de goda höstbären på våra träd och buskar. Några bilder från igår tagna i Lysekil. Hade hört från flera håll att man kunde se dem i där. Hade turen hitta en flock med säkert 100 individer....,,

Die komen bij jullie veel voor, hopelijk komen ze ook onze kant op nu zijn er veel Kramsvogels. Je hebt er wel mooie opnames van gemaakt en ook de kleuren zijn erg mooi.

Loes and Irma: Rather common here in Sweden and you see them specially in autumns in large hopes.

Het zijn schitterende vogels deze pestvogels en je hebt ze prachtig in beeld gebracht. Het is je zelfs gelukt om ze vliegend ter fotograferen, top....
Ik lees dat er zelfs een groep van wel 100 exemplaren zaten, voor ons hier zou dat een ongekende luxe zijn, met enkele zouden we al blij zijn. Stuur s.v.p. een klein groepje hier naar toe, het is al weer jaren geleden dat ik ze hier kon fotograferen.

...I have several dogwood trees that had lots of red fruit until the waxwings came by. They had quite a meal.
