Have been on vacasion to Rome, and here comes some photos from these fantastic city. Coming home full of ancient culture. Wherever you look the city is full of buildings, sculptures and paintings. Michelangelo, Rafael and Bernini, to mention some, has left a great treasure for us to look in to. That´s for sure.
Colloseum and Arco di Constantino....
Piazza di Spagna, the most famouse meetingplace. Shoping in the nearby famous stores.
We also made a trip in the surroundings of Rome. Villa d´Este with ca 500 fountains...
...and of course Fontana di Trevi. Famous from the movie
La Dolce Vita with Anita Ekberg and Marcello Mastroianni. We was not alloud to bath in the fountain...
... but we throw a coin in the fountain. If you do so, you are sure to come back !
We were not alone..... Houndreds had come. In the late evening (after a splendid italian dinner) to see this magnificent Fountain in the evening light.
