Kungsfiskare (Alcedo atthis),,

This colourful little bird has been staying over the winter not so far from the place where I live. I am greatful to my blogfriend Ingemar P, http://kungsfiskaren.blogspot.com/ , who showed me where to find the Kingfisher. Doing the feathers - must keep them in trim after the dives.....

It´s a skilful fisher, during two hours he (she) managed to catch 6-7 fishes and all of them very quickly diasappeard in the gap .....

In the troll forest.....playing games with the light.... .......I thought I saw a glimpse of the small people....

Berguv - Eagle Owl,,

Absolutely incredible ! Last summer I happened to "run into" an Eagle Owl (See "Knallsensation" in the list to the right).
Yesterday the same thing happened again.... Took a walk in the beech forest, just because it was a very fine day. Brought the camera to take some landscape photos.....Suddenly my wife looked up and said: "Funny branch up there, what is that?".....I stoped and nearly fell on my back when I realise what I saw...!! No branch for sure!!

Wow, not again I thought, This is impossible. But it was true!

On the picture below this big bird is showing the claws! Don´t mess with me......!

I say thanks to Mother Nature for bringing such a good show in my way !

Detta inlägg fick rubriken "Blue" för bildernas bakgrunder. Det är snön i bakgrunden som genom solbelysning och skuggspel ger dessa djupa blåa toner. Tyckte fåglarnas färger framhävdes mot den fonden.... Denne jägare har kommit några gånger till småfågelmatningen och försökt skaffa sig ett skrovmål. Hittills har det blivit noll i utdelning men jag tackar för uppvisningen för då fick jag möjlighet att ta några bilder....

Domherrarna kommer då och då. Visst är det en vacker fågel ?

Talgoxen flyr när han ser höken komma.....

Grönsiskor är också gäster som dyker upp då och då. Lite längre fram på våren brukar de komma i stora flockar.

Den lille svartmesen har varit framme hela vintern (3 st egentligen). Här blev det en bild i motljus, vilket gör att fjäderdräkten "brinner".

Here comes some more photos from the archives. From a gorgeous morning in september when the sea is still warm and the nights become chilly. The mist over open sea and just a few minutes when the sun comes up..... The whole sea is "burning".....and then a couple of swans showing off. I say thanks for the show to them...

Testing the wings, shaking the sleep out of the body....Prepare to take off.....

Going through the files to check what I´ve done the pasts months, I found some other photos that might be interesting to show. At least I hope.....The photos are taken early mornings in october, when the morning mist comes over open water.
