Hösten de vackra färgernas årstid. Nära där vi bor finns två områden med bokskog. Båda ställen är vackra platser att besöka. Tidigt på våren i den skira grönskan eller på hösten i oktober är två bra tillfällen att besöka bokskogarna. Här kommer några bilder från hösten.

In the old forests here maples and beeches are often the most common trees and in the fall it is spectacular. Even in the winter the crinkled gold leaves cling to the branches of the beeches. Sadly they are all under attack now by a fungal blight and many will succumb. So many of our native trees are facing threats these days.
